"Spectroscopy and Surface Chemical Dynamics" at the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad, India
Energy storage is a global challenge due to rising energy demand and resource depletion. To address this, we plan to develop spectroscopy based research projects that focus on understanding fundamental processes such as charge transfer mechanisms, adsorption properties, and reaction mechanisms at interfaces. To this end, we are currently developing femtosecond transient absorption and nonlinear vibrational sum frequency generation spectroscopy techniques. Our goal is to bridge the gap between fundamental research and practical applications of surface/interface science.
